Teaching basic literacy and technology in public schools on Word Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations and Internet Research

http://prescottkids.wordpress.com This blog is a teaching platform for 3rd through 5th grade students at a new school I am teaching at. This student body has a higher percentage of homes in poverty and less computers at home.My lessons are more basic to respond to their need for laying more of a basic foundation with documents, spreadsheets, presentations and web research.

http://littclass1011.wordpress.com I teach 6th through 8th Grade students using this Word press blog as a teaching platform. It has the learning goals, assignments, links, worksheet and spreadsheet download links and presentations with screen shots and descriptions as guides. My curriculum book is based on these lessons.

http://littclass4th2012.wordpress.com I teach 4th and 5th Grade students using this Word press blog as a teaching platform. Open Office Curriculum Book Table of Contents: 4th through 8th Grade
This is a table of contents for a book I am putting together now. All the lessons listed I have done with my classes over the last five years. Most of them exist on my Wordpress blogs that are my assignment platforms. This table of contents also represents a comprehensive list of the lessons I use to teach my "Literacy through technology" class.

Character Progress Report: Borrowed from the KIPP Academies Character Report Card, this document is used as a way to apply the use of spreadsheets to classroom culture. I have the students fill one out for themselves, reflect with them and offer one I fill out as a reflection.
