New Guidelines for 2016
In a new contest format, The Robert Frost Foundation welcomes poems in the spirit of Robert Frost for its Annual Award. This year there will be three categories, couplets (2-line), quatrains (4-line), and sonnets(14-line), all forms which Frost used. The winner of each category will receive $100 and publication on the Frost Facebook page and website. Up to three runners-up will be shortlisted at the discretion of the judge.
Online submissions are now welcome via email or snail mail. Reading fees are $6 per poem. Make your check payable to The Robert Frost Foundation. Mail your entry to: Lawrence Library, Attn: Robert Frost Award, 51 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA 01841. Email submissions are accepted at email@example.com. You can send your entry fee by check via regular mail or by credit card or via the Pay Now button on this page.
You may submit up to six poems in any combination of couplets, quatrains, and sonnets. Both published and unpublished works are accepted. See the complete contest guidelines. Winners will be notified in late September, 2016 of their position on the judge's shortlist. For a list of winners, please visit our Facebook page or website in October, 2016 when the official announcement will be posted.
