Study guideline and overview of syllabus for RMO

The Regional Mathematical Olympiad 2016 (RMO 2016) for Maharashtra and Goa Region will be held on Sunday October 9, 2016, from 1PM to 4PM.

Maharashtra and Goa region consists of the states of Maharashtra and Goa except Greater Mumbai region. Thus the students from Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai including Panvel should apply from Greater Mumbai region. The interested students from Greater Mumbai region should visit the website of Homi Bhabha Centre For Science Education, Mankhurd for more details. Who can appear for RMO 2016?

F.Y.J.C. (XIth standard) students and exceptionally good IXth and Xth standard students are eligible to appear for RMO.
12th standard students are not eligible to appear for RMO.

How to apply for RMO 2016?

Registration for the exam is now closed. Interested students can still come to the Pune exam center for spot registration on the day of the exam. For more information, urgently contact prashant.sohani@gmail.com and svikasjadhav@gmail.com .



Examination fee is Rs 150/- per candidate. The examination fees are non-refundable. The fees can be paid with a Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of Regional Co-ordinator (RMO and INMO)-Maharashtra payable at Pune. The students sending the DD individually should write their own name, name of the school and contact number on the back side of the DD.

Please download and fill out the below form. Kindly ensure that the contact details of all students are complete and correct, including mobile number, email address and complete home address. This is important, because we will be using these to send the details of RMO results to the students. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted.

The total fees of all the students appearing from your school/college should preferably be paid by sending a single combined Demand Draft. In case a combined Demand Draft of all the students is being sent, please write the name of the School/College and the contact number of the Teacher in charge on the back side of the Demand Draft.
