REGIONAL MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD 2016

1.
Students will receive an access code via SMS or email; which they can use on the following page app.rmomah.org, to see their individual scores. Please note that this is not the official result; this is only for providing students with a chance to apply for re-evaluation.


2. Students can submit a request for re-evaluation upto 20th November. The detailed procedure of the same will be informed to the students, along with the marks.

3. Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) will announce the official results of RMO in the 1st week of December.

Important instructions for students:
1.
The Regional Mathematical Olympiad 2016 (RMO 2016) for Maharashtra and Goa Region will be held on Sunday October 9, 2016, from 1PM to 4PM.
Make sure to check your seat number and alloted exam center in the above list.

2. Students must reach their exam center at least 15 minutes before the exam.

3. Students must carry their school/college identity card with them. Failing to do so, they may not be allowed to appear for the exam.

4. After the exam is over, more information about the next steps will be sent to the students via email.

Study guideline and overview of syllabus for RMO



Registration for the exam is now closed. Interested students can still come to the Pune exam center for spot registration on the day of the exam; with the necessary documents as explained below. For more information, please contact prashant.sohani@gmail.com and svikasjadhav@gmail.com .

a) Examination fee is Rs 150/- per candidate. The examination fees are non-refundable. The fees can be paid with a Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of Regional Co-ordinator (RMO and INMO)-Maharashtra payable at Pune. The students should write their own name, name of the school and contact number on the back side of the DD.

b) Please download and fill out the below form. Kindly ensure that the contact details of all students are complete and correct, including mobile number, email address and complete home address. This is important, because we will be using these to send the details of RMO results to the students. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted.

Students in spot registration, should reach the Pune exam center at least 45 minutes before, with the above documents.

General information about RMO 2016

The Regional Mathematical Olympiad 2016 (RMO 2016) for Maharashtra and Goa Region will be held on Sunday October 9, 2016, from 1PM to 4PM.


Maharashtra and Goa region consists of the states of Maharashtra and Goa except Greater Mumbai region. Thus the students from Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai including Panvel should apply from Greater Mumbai region. The interested students from Greater Mumbai region should visit the website of Homi Bhabha Centre For Science Education, Mankhurd for more details. Who can appear for RMO 2016?

F.Y.J.C. (XIth standard) students and exceptionally good IXth and Xth standard students are eligible to appear for RMO.
12th standard students are not eligible to appear for RMO.
