Where to recycle at RLM

 Paper and Cardboard
Blue bins, with or without signs saying paper, found around every floor. These are for paper and cardboard ONLY.
Please don't mix materials, you can contaminate the recycling!

Metal Cans and Clean Solid Plastics
Every floor of RLM has at least one blue bin for plastic+can, usually near the elevators. These bins have signs saying plastics and cans ONLY.

Cell Phones and Ink Cartridges

Blue bins on the 4th floor, near the elevators and the PMA library.

Rechargeable Batteries and Fluorescent Light Bulbs

Drop it at RLM 3.104 (Lanny Sandefur's office). Please no broken bulbs and NO alkalines. Make sure you tape the ends of the batteries or they can spark!

Alkaline Batteries
Drop it at RLM 3.210 (Jack Clifford). Make sure you tape the ends of the batteries or they can spark! Tape is provided.

Bubble Wrap and Packing Peanuts
We can only reuse CLEAN bubble wrap and packing peanuts. We are NOT able to recycle styrofoam and foam anymore, please take it to HDi Plastics
Peanuts and bubble wrap can be stored in a file cabinet outside RLM 7.306 (labeled RLM recycling). These packaging materials are available for all to reuse. Please do NOT store hard styrofoam there, that most likely won't be reused.
