E-mail rlmrecycling@gmail.com saying where you are placing the bin. Information on all bins in the building can be found in our website.

Collection:
The recycling of plastic+can is done by volunteers, not by the university. In this case there are two options:
1) You can take care of the bin. That means change the bags when they are full, maybe once a week. For more info e-mail rlmrecycling@gmail.com
2) We do have a volunteers taking care of every floor of RLM, they can probably take care of an extra bin. E-mail rlmrecycling@gmail.com to arrange the pick up of your bin.

Bin for Ink Cartridge

Order:
Make your own bin (or
order a bin for paper and put a sign on it).

Collection:
Place a box with your ink and toner by your outgoing mail and label “Document Solutions.”

Bin for Rechargeable Batteries and/or Fluorescent Light Bulbs

Order:

Make your own bin (or order a bin for paper and put a sign on it).

Collection:
To request pick up from
EHS just follow the same procedure as for all hazardous materials:
  • Call EHS and ask for a tag for chemical disposal. They will send it to you through campus mail. You can ask for many tags at once and save them.
  • Place the fluorescent light bulb(s) (OR rechargeables) in a box, and put a tag on the box.
  • Go to the EHS website and print the chemical disposal form.
  • Fill out the form, using your tag number, and fax it to EHS.

Bin for Alkaline Batteries, Electronics (NOT university property), Bubble Wrap and/or Packing Peanuts

Order:

Make your own bin (or order a bin for paper and put a sign on it).

Collection:

The recycling of these materials is done by volunteers, not by the university. In this case, you can take these materials to:

- ALL batteries, cell/smartphones, laptop/netbooks, MP3s, and PDAs:
