A driving quote

Tidy is a special word we use to describe a space which on Earth has achieved the perfection we imagine for Heaven. When we tell ourselves to wait, to not show something until it is tidy we are taking onto ourselves the role of ultimate control, the power of creating the order reserved for processing souls to their eternal reward and damnation.

We are all sinners to the false god of Tidy.

Notes: this does not apply to the actions of roommates in a shared kitchen. In that case it is acceptable to demand that those filthy slobs should get their shit together, show a little respect, and tidy up.
