Interests

I am particularly interested in the exploration of the underlying neural mechanisms of hallucinations in adults and children. My research currently focuses on hallucinations and pathological emergence in consciousness of delusional experiences in schizophrenia, using behavioural, computational, functional brain imaging and developmental approaches. I recently coordinated a book which synthesizes the main findings of hallucination research from different areas in neuroscience (The Neuroscience of Hallucinations, Springer (NY), 2013), and a second one in French on the different psychotherapies of hallucinations (Elsevier-Masson, Paris 2016).
