Riverside State Park is a big place with lots of projects that need volunteers. Individuals and groups are invited to get involved!
Volunteer Coordinator Danny Murphy matches people that love working outdoors to projects that match their skills and abilities.
Volunteering in the park is fun, good for you, and good for the park. Volunteers (below) construct a new post and rail fence as part of the Trail 25 loop project near the ORV Area. Other volunteers help with events like the Zombie Hike and Winter Wonderland, work with trail crews, clean up litter throughout the park, and some donate their special skills like electrical wiring, pipe fitting, construction, chainsaw and chipper work, and more.
Get Involved! Volunteer! Contact Danny Murphy at 509-795-4609.
you an avid Park user? Did you know the Park has an Advisory Board and
Committee of dedicated volunteers? We currently have Foundation
Board Positions open, and several Advisory Committee openings. The
Riverside State Park Foundation invites all enthusiastic park users to
serve on the Advisory Committee to assist and advise Park Staff and help
the Foundation support the Park.
Step up and serve!
Special thanks to REI for providing Volunteer Coordinator grant funding in support of Centennial Trail volunteer work!
