Head Coach:
Kris Hayward

2016 inductee to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame via the Florida chapter, Kris Hayward is currently in his 16th season with Riverdale High School and his 23rd season as a Head Coach. He is a graduate of Sarasota High School (1990) and was a State Champion in 1989 and 1990. He attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville ('95) where he wrestled 4 years, earning All-America honors in '92 & '94. He's coached 15 State Champions, 73 state placers, led the Raiders to FHSAA State Championships in '08 & '09, & state runner ups in '07, and 2015!. He & wife Vicki have 2 children, Kasey and Karson.

Assistant High School Coach \ Head JV Coach:
Jack Gunn

After a stellar wrestling career capped off in 2008 by winning a state championship at 285 for the Raiders, coach Jack Gunn is a 'huge' staple for the team and always looks forward to helping our kids both on and off the mat. Our youth athletes of all ages are drawn to coach Gunn's prowess and demeanor. Jack's family have bled Garnet & Gold for many generations.

Assistant High School Coach:
Jesse Von Linden

Coach V! is another solid link in the chain for Riverdale Wrestling ... He has a passion for teaching, both as a school teacher at Riverdale and as an assistant high school wrestling coach.
Youth Club Head Coach:
Dusty Fellows

A tried and true Riverdale veteran, Coach Dusty is another Raider State Champion who has come back in 2015 to his mat roots. Dusty's natural passion for the sport and for coaching at Riverdale are invaluable. Simply put: The kids love him.
Coach Dusty has also dabbled with success in MMA.

Trey Dunn

Yet another legendary Riverdale Raider Athlete who now spends his volunteer time coaching up our young men ... Coach Trey Dunn has joined the squad in 2015.
Youth Club Assistant Coach:
Keith Evans

The phrase "His reputation precedes him" ends right here with Mr. Evans. Coach Keith had an outstanding Riverdale wrestling career with 2 state championships in 2004 & 2005 at 112/119. His history with the Youth Club is local legend, and he has now also stepped up to coaching high school.

Mr. Reliable, Mr. Patient, Mr. Irreplaceable... Rich Soto steps up to the plate every year to help keep the balance and manage the show for our Lil' Raiders.
