River Trout Habitat Improvement Demonstration27th February 2016, 10am – 3pm, River Welland, Stamford
The Wild Trout Trust, in partnership with the Environment Agency, is holding a demonstration of practical habitat improvement techniques for river trout fisheries on Saturday 27th February on the River Welland, Stamford. The day will be led by Wild Trout Trust Conservation Officer, Tim Jacklin, and there will be an opportunity to get hands-on experience and learn techniques that can be applied on your own fisheries.

The meeting place is the store front entrance at Morrisons supermarket, Uffington Road, Stamford PE9 2FT. You can leave your car in the free supermarket car park (no restrictions apply) and then we will walk as a group to the river (5 min walk from the supermarket).
Things to bring: appropriate clothing, wellies and packed lunch. If you would like to join in the practical work on the day please bring waders and work gloves. A limited number of spare waders will be available on the day.
