3/2/08: A friend who recently googled me found this page, and I remembered that I hadn't updated in eons. I'm still deciding what to do with this page. It hasn't been entirely abandoned, but I'm not likely to want to have it continue in its current form.
5/14/06: Dr. Rose and I submitted a conference paper at the end of April that got accepted. I'll be presenting at the 2006 International Conference on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BioComp) taking place in Las Vegas June 26-29 as part of The 2006 World Congress in Computer Science Computer Engineering, and Applied Computing (WorldComp). The paper is titled Evidence for Functional Protein Fragment Homology in Viral Genome Types.
Additionally, I've been working 6-7 days a week this month in preparation for an NIH (National Institute of Health) grant proposal that Dr. Rose will be submitting June 1. Our pilot data has been looking good, and I got some truly exciting results yesterday. Hopefully, I'll be able to solidify those results over the next couple days before I head off for a week in upstate New York celebrating with some college friends before their graduation. Watch this space for pictures (if I remember to bring my camera).
4/13/06: Added a quick page about what I'm up to presently. It's linked in the sidebar.
4/13/06: Just posted pictures from my now-infamous summer 2005 tour of India. Enjoy.
4/12/06: Just added pictures from my trip to Sydney around New Year's 2006.
4/12/06: Just added some pictures of Dragon Day 2005, easily the coolest thing that happens on Cornell's campus each year.
4/12/06: Just added some pictures of myself presenting a paper at the 2003 International Knowledge Engineering conference in Las Vegas. Featured are blue hair, blue plaid tie and navy blue dress shirt.
4/12/06: I currently have a link to the photoset of my Spring Break 2005 trip to Morocco with Rohit posted in the sidebar. I should have my trip to Australia posted soonish, and my now-infamous trip to India posted approximately when I get around to it. Enjoy.
4/12/06: First post. Generally, I'll be using this webpage to communicate with family and friends and also to serve, hopefully, as my "public face" should anyone decide to google me. Hopefully this will allow me to continue living my double-life while effectively dodging any suspicion.
