Solar energy audit

    Solar energy audit is an obligatory part of the preliminary investigation for raising a photovoltaic power plant. Solar energy audit is a technical- economical estimation and analysis of the profitableness of the different possible realisations of the investment of the particular site. We offer solar energy audit, created together with experts from Electrical Power Engieering Department of Technical University of Sofia, according to the requirements of the bulgarian "Decree № 16- 27 from 22.01.2008 for the conditions and the order of estimation of the available and prognosticated capacity of the resource for power generation from renewable energy sources". Solar energy audit includes the following activities:

  • visual inspection of the offered site and estimation of the available infrastructure;
  • depicting, processing and equivalenting of the horizon profile;
  • estimation of terrestrial albedo of the site;
  • determination of the applicable technologies for acquiring the solar potential;
  • delivery, installation and commissioning of measurement meteorological station (optional- recommended for large projects);
  • delivery, installation and commisionig of registering test installation with different constructions and different types of photovoltaic modules (optional- recommended for large projects);
  • processing the meteorological data of the site;
  • estimations of the solar power potential;
  • preparation of investment variants;
  • estimation of the size of the investment;
  • estimation of the prognosticated cash inflows by years;
  • estimation of the prognosticated cash outflows by years;
  • cash flow analysis of the applicable variants;
  • technical- economical analysis of the applicable variants;
  • feasibility study;
  • recommendation for selection of a technological decision;
  • risk analysis;
  • preparing and presenting a report with the examination results, according to the requirements of the bulgarian „Decree № 16- 27 from 22.01.2008 for the conditions and the order of estimation of the available and prognosticated capacity of the resource for manufacturing power from renewable power sources“.
