Our Beginner's Club has been formed specifically to help those new to photography and most of the current membership have compact or bridge cameras. The club is very practically orientated and we usually start our sessions with a short tutorial or by taking a look at other photographer's work. Most of the session is very practical and we encourage members to bring their cameras along so they can experiment with different settings. During the summer months we will be going out on local field trips where we can practice our photographic skills.
Membership: The Beginner's Club is part of the main club so you will need to join at a cost of £26 for an individual or £42 for couples. Membership gives you access to all the main club meetings as well as the Beginner's Club. There is an additional fee of £1 per meeting attended to cover the room hire for the Beginner's Club. However, new members are very welcome to come along to a session free of charge to see if you like us :-)).
Meetings are held in the Committee Room (Upstairs) at the Ringwood Conservative Club. We meet on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm.
