Birthday celebrations mean parties, games, treats, and fun. Cub Scouts will find plenty of that this month as the 100th year birthday of the Boy Scouts of America explodes. Boys can play games using the knowledge of the historical founders of the Scouting movement, and play games using everyday game ideas such as tossing games and creating puzzles. There are opportunities to explore just how many 100 of anything can be. There are many different ways to celebrate the 100th year anniversary; it will take planning to be sure there’s time for everything. The pack meeting will be very special as historical recognition, leader recognition, and boy recognition come center stage. Packs will want to be sure to take the party to others, as well. It’s a great year to be in Scouting!

The link below has great Den Meeting activities to help the boys enjoy the celebration.
