The science department at Rincon High School is dedicated to providing a foundation for laboratory based science experience for all students. Students will gain the skills necessary to be successful in science, becoming the problem solvers of the future.

Three units (6 semesters) of Science, including Biology by the end of sophomore year will satisfy the TUSD graduation requirement of 3.0 credits in Science.
Most colleges and universities require 4 years of science for admission. Chemistry is highly recommended for those students interested in any studies in science.
