Basic Life Support (BLS) for Non-Healthcare & Healthcare Providers
Summary: The BLS course for Healthcare Providers is authorized for initial and renewal training. This class is geared to healthcare providers working in a healthcare setting such as Nurses, EMT's, Medical Assistants, Dentists, etc. After the completion of the class you will earn a 2 year AHA BLS Provider CPR certification card. In addition, BLS training can be appropriate for first responders, such as police officers and firefighters, as well as for laypeople whose work brings them into contact with members of the public, such as school, fitness center, or hotel and restaurant employees. This American Heart Association CPR course includes adult, child, infant data and AED Training. Successful completion of this course requires passing a written exam with at least 84% and skills testing. At the completion of the course the student will receive an AHA BLS Provider card.
