Are you interested in bees or becoming a beekeeper?

We are a Beekeepers Club for current, wannabee and used-to-bee beekeepers, in the central Florida area. Our members have a wealth of knowledge about beekeeping. Members include hobbyist, sideline and commercial beekeepers, honey producers and queen producers. Our members come from Polk County and surrounding counties such as Lake, Highlands, and Hardee Counties.

We meet in the City of Bartow on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. We are currently meeting at the Bartow Civic Center located at 2250 South Floral Ave., Bartow, Florida 33830.

There is no cost to attend any of our meetings.

If you want to join the annual family membership is $10.00. You may also join the the Florida State Bee Association for $30.00 more if you choose to.

Come enjoy a pot luck dinner where you can meet new people, learn tips of the trade and experience the wonderful, mysterious, world of bees and beekeeping.

Day in the bee yard

Come join us to get some practical, hands on experience handling bees.

We will have experienced beekeepers there to answer any questions you may have and to show you easy ways to handle and manage bees.

Our association has 30 hives so you will learn a lot about beekeeping.

Our "Day in the bee yard" will be the Saturday following the meeting normally starting around 9:30 a.m. Details will be announced at the meeting.
