Why we do this, and why you should be a part of it

The DR100 event's Mission Statement is to promote the safety of all cyclists and runners and accomplishes this through the following three-fold objectives:

(1) Be seen - Provide reflective apparel for the DR100 participants
(2) Be known - Provide Medical ID information for the DR100 participants
(3) Have space - DR100 proceeds to expand bike/pedestrian lanes on public roads.

How?
  • This event promotes safety by giving each pre-registered cyclist and runner a reflective enhanced visibility arm band with a space for important medical and emergency contact information.
  • The DR100 also promotes safer public roads, by raising awareness and using proceeds to help fund area bicycle / running lanes on public roads and University campuses.

Plans are underway for the 2011 event.  A date will be set soon, please check back here for details.
