RACA Open Board Meeting- August 22nd at 6pm

posted Aug 17, 2017, 8:01 PM by Katie Scott   [ updated Aug 17, 2017, 8:02 PM ]

Richmond Area Counselors,

We need your help!

RACA is here to serve, support, and empower you. Most importantly, we want to know you! What's important to you? What issues matter to you and the populations you serve? What type of trainings and events would be most beneficial to you? What can we do for you this year and moving forward?

We're having an open board meeting at 6pmTuesday, August 22nd at the Gayton Library in Short Pump. This will be a strategic planning session and we're asking all of our Richmond Area Counselors to attend- your input is invaluable as we set our agenda for the upcoming year! If you think you might be interested in getting active in chair positions and leadership roles, definitely join us- we'd love to celebrate your contributions! We're also extending this invitation to Peninsula Area Counselors as we hope to assist them in getting their chapter up and running again. Our VCA president, Linda Grubba, will be joining us as well!

Afterwards, we'll head over to Glory Days for a networking social. So on top of the big decisions we need your help with, we hope this will be a really great opportunity for you to connect with counselors from Richmond and Hampton Roads!

No worries if it's a last minute decision but if you can, RSVP via email with a YES and we'll plan on seeing you next Tuesday!  racassoc@gmail.com

Your voice matters!

Sincerely,

Krysta Johnson, MS
President, RACA

The time has come for the nomination of officers for the 2015-2016 year. We want to make sure that we include all members in this process though so we will be taking nominations for officers through email until Monday, May 25 at 5:30 pm. At that point, we will announce the nominations for officers and open up an online poll for voting for the officers. Voting will take place until June 3 at 5:30 pm. At that point, votes will be calculated and we will announce our new officers. They will be announced at our June 4 social event.
