About Me

Hello! My name is Jennifer Richardson and this is my fifth year with Heritage High School. I am an enthusiastic person who absolutely loves science! I was a chemistry major and education minor at UC Davis. I loved UCD so much that I went back and got my teaching credential and masters degree there as well. I love teaching and I am very excited to be here. I’m looking forward to a great year!

Fun Facts About Mrs. Richardson

I am science department chair at Heritage
I received Teacher of the Year for Heritage High school in 2019
I played the clarinet in the UC Davis marching band (I was even section leader!)
My husband (Mr. Richardson) teaches math at Heritage
I have 3 year old lab mix named Crissy
My husband and I collect various board and card games
I love baking, hiking, and ultimate frisbee!
I can't remember ever wanted to be anything other than a teacher!
