Looking towards Wodonga where the line now crosses

the Lincoln Causeway on a bridge.

24th May 2009.

Site of new Wodonga station (down direction).

Southern end of by-pass (down direction ).

Number 1 road has been lifted.

Coach arrangements until rail by-pass was completed.

The former fuel point /locomotive depot was still relatively unchanged.

From down end of platform looking down towards Albury.

Once the standard gauge line was diverted the infamous High Street level crossing was no more.

The spur line to Mars Corporation ,

formerly Uncle Bens , has been removed.

8th June.

Albury Station.

Former Broad Gauge terminus.

Note the buses ,on extreme right hand side, used to carry passengers to Seymour

whilst the broad gauge line was been converted to standard gauge.

9th August 2009.

Construction of the rail bridge over the Lincoln Causeway has begun.

Future, now current, Wodonga railway station site.

Up and down directions.

ETTAMOGAH RAIL HUB.

20th September 2009.

Junction of former broad gauge (from Wodonga) and standard gauge (from Wodonga Coal Sidings).

ALBURY.

Standard gauge track has been laid at former broad gauge platform.

and has been joined to the main line.

Former staff barracks where "foreign" crews stayed before returning trains to their own depots.

Usually Melbourne , Junee , Goulburn or Sydney.

Former station master's residence.

31st October.

Robinvale terminus in up direction.


November.

Steamrail Victoria ran a vintage train from Melbourne to Mildura

then shuttles between Merbrin and Redcliffs.


Mount Gambier.

The station has been closed for many years.

The building is currently used by Radio Rhema 104.9FM

and it's literature division "On Track" Book Shop.

Adelaide end.

Left line to Millicent & Beachport  and right line to Penola and onto Bordertown.

17th November 2009.
