Richard Froyen

Richard Froyen is Professor of Economics at the University of North Carolina where he has taught since 1971.  He has been a visiting economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, a Visiting Professor at the University of Leeds (U.K.), and an Erskine Fellow at the University of Canterbury (N.Z.).  Professor Froyen is the author of Macroeconomics: Theories and Policies, 8th ed.,  2005 and of articles on macroeconomics and monetary policy in various economic journals.  His current research interests include: monetary policy and the term structure of interest rates, models of monetary policy under uncertainty, and estimation of Federal Reserve reaction functions.
