Martin Dockery
Brooklyn-based Martin Dockery spends the majority of the year touring his seven one-person shows through Canada, Australia, the UK, and the US. Five of them are autobiographical (Wanderlust, The Surprise, the Bike Trip, The Holy Land Experience, and The Exclusion Zoneand two are fictional (Bursting Into Flames and The Dark Fantastic). He has won "Best of Fest" awards at theater festivals in Vancouver, Ottawa, New York, Orlando, London, Toronto, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Victoria, San Francisco, and Adelaide. He's performed at The Melbourne Comedy Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe, the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, and twice headlined the London Storytelling Festival in England. Dockery has also written and performed with his theater company Concrete Drops. He has toured with Vanessa Quesnelle across North America in his original two-person plays Oh, That Wily Snake!, The Pit, & Moonlight After Midnight, and with Jon Paterson in Inescapable. He has an MFA in playwriting from Columbia University.



Jon Paterson
Jon Paterson has been working in theatre for the past 20 years and has been a founding member and co-artistic producer of Ribbit Productions since 2000. Jon studied theatre at Grant Macewan University, where he began his association with Kenneth Brown. Jon has co-produced and performed in over a dozen Ribbit shows including BoyGroove, Grimmer than Grimm, House, Water and Letters in Wartime on national Fringe Festival tours.
Jon has performed in various theatre and festivals across Canada including The Centaur Wildside Festival, Canoe Theatre Festival, Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, Mayfield Dinner Theatre, Vertigo Mystery Theatre and the Winnipeg Improv Festival.
In 2010 Jon joined the National Stiltwalkers of Canada and has recently studied clown with Michael Kennard of Mump and Smoot. Jon has stilt walked for NSC as well as Firefly Theatre and Zero Gravity Circus and recently performed stilt in his first Ribbit show, Passages.
Jon is also a stage manager, poster designer, and Winnipeg Jets fan.



Vanessa Quesnelle - Director

Vanessa Quesnelle has been touring with the theatre company Concrete Drops for the last five years; performing in their two-person plays (Oh, That Wily Snake!, The Pit and Moonlight After Midnight), performing her one-person show (The Abyss Burrow) and directing (Inescapable). These productions have toured to theatres in Ottawa, Fresno, Orlando, London, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Victoria, Vancouver, Charleston, Bellingham, and New York City. Moonlight After Midnight won the award for “Best Show” at festivals in Ottawa, Orlando, & Cincinnati. Some of her ‪previous acting credits include Amy in Company (Fountainhead Productions), Nurse Wilson in 7 Stories, Pierrette in Les Belles Soeurs, Helena in Midsummer Night’s Dream (Passionfool Theatre), Suzanne in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Margot Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank (Theatre Woodstock), and Laura Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie (QP Productions). Vanessa is originally from Canada but now lives in New York City.
