I am originally from New Jersey, where I got my Bachelor of Science at The College of New Jersey in Biology Education.
After college, we got married and moved to Boston, MA where I taught life science for 4 years.
In 2002, we had our first baby and moved to GA. I taught for the first year I was here at Webb Bridge Middle School.
I stayed home for 6 years and had three more babies. To keep busy and connected to teens, I worked in children's and youth ministry. I returned to the classroom in 2010 at Webb Bridge Middle School and came to Roswell fall of 2010. I love RHS and Roswell, we live in town, and I love being close to school and part of this community. I have had many different hair colors and styles so you may know me even if you think you don't! :)
I am married to Patrick Hartigan- he works at Milton High School and isn't terribly fond of my Hornet green!
We have four awesome kids, Kate, Matt, Claire and Jack.
We are very involved with our church and our small group. We like to travel, work on the house, and watch football. I love to shop, read, and spend time with my girlfriends.
Here at RHS I am the Student Council sponsor and the Junior and Senior Class Sponsors.
On the side, I head up the Recycling Program and the Science Department Social Committee ;)
