I am originally from New Jersey, where I got my Bachelor of Science at The College of New Jersey in Biology Education.
After college, we got married and moved to Boston, MA where I taught life science for 4 years.
In 2002, we had our first baby and moved to GA. I taught for the first year I was here at Webb Bridge Middle School.
I stayed home for 6 years and had three more babies. To keep busy and connected to teens, I worked in children's and youth ministry. I returned to the classroom in 2010 at Webb Bridge Middle School and came to Roswell fall of 2010. I love RHS and Roswell, we live in town, and I love being close to school and part of this community. I have had many different hair colors and styles so you may know me even if you think you don't! :)
I am married to Patrick Hartigan- he works at Milton High School and isn't terribly fond of my Hornet green!
We have four awesome kids.
Katie is 11 and is in 6th grade, Matthew is 9 and in 3rd grade, Claire is 7 and is in 2nd grade, and Jack is 5 and in Kindergarten. They keep us busy! We are very involved with our church and both Patrick and I are Youth Mentors. We love to travel, work on the house, and watch football. I love to shop, read, and spend time with my girlfriends. :)
