Rhouma Rhouma is an Associate Professor in Telecommunications at the ESEN (Ecole Supérieure d'Economie Numérique de Mannouba). He obtains his engineering diploma in Telecommunications from the ENIT (Ecole nationale d'ingénieurs de Tunis) and the master degree in Communications systems from the same school in 2004 and the PhD in Telecommunications from the same school in 2008. In 2012, he obtains the Habilitation degree from the ENIT in Telecommunications.

His main interests are in chaos-based cryptosystems design and cryptanalysis, semi-fragile digital watermarking for integrity protection, data hiding and steganalysis based on machine learning techniques, lightweight ciphers in the IoT, crypto-compression tehcniques and cybersecurity.

He was recently been certified by IBM in the “IBM Application Security Analyst Mastery Award” under the ID: 6250-1478-2651-6684.
He is Certified also in “IBM Big Data Developer Mastery Award” under the unique ID :1314-1486-1269-4897.

He supervised or co-supervised more than 10 Master of research students and 06 PhD students in the ENIT. He published two books in informations security subject in the “Editions universitaires europeenes” and the “Presses académiques Francophones”. He has also one chapter book published by NOVA. He published 27 journal papers in Springer, Elsevier, American Institute of Physics (AIP) editions. And 14 International conferences. His index reached 12 in ResearcherID’s Thomson Reuters, 13 as estimated by Scopus and 14 as estimated by Google Scholar. He participate also in co-chairing an international conference in Tunisia called ICDEc’2016 (International Conference on Digital Economy) which is indexed by DBLP. He participate also on reviewing activities for many journals in IEEE, Elsevier and Springer
