  • April 8, 2016: Jeff Rhoads has been promoted to the rank of Professor effective August 15, 2016.
  • July 3, 2015: Jeff Rhoads has been selected to receive the 2015 B.F.S. Schaefer Outstanding Young Faculty Scholar Award, which is presented to Associate Professors who have demonstrated research excellence in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University.
  • June 15, 2015: Jeff Rhoads has been selected to receive the  ASEE Mechanics Division Best Presentation Award  for his presentation at the 2014 ASEE Annual Conference.
  • September 16, 2014: Jeff Rhoads has been featured in ASEE's Prism Magazine's "20 Under 40".
  • August 15, 2014: Jeff Rhoads has been selected to receive the 2014 ASME C. D. Mote Jr., Early Career Award, which is presented to an early career recipient who demonstrates research excellence in the field of vibration and acoustics by the ASME Technical Committee on Sound and Vibration.
