I am the Asia Pacific Conservation Impact Scientist, in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Team at The Nature Conservancy. My research has been featured in The Guardian, VoxDev, Bloomberg, Reuters, and ScienceNews.
I grow up in Indonesia, a country that has diverse socio-cultural, geographical, and biodiversity characteristics. From my experience growing up in one of the world's largest middle income countries, I am interested in understanding the causal impact of the intersection between environmental and development economics, policies implementation, their heterogeneous effects, and potential mechanisms. In order to achieve the causal understanding, I work with interdisciplinary researchers, e.g. researchers from natural science background, and policy makers.
