Mooner eclipse :-)

posted 10 Dec 2010, 16:10 by David Prescod

The more spectacular event occurs on the nights of the 20th and 21st
when the entire N. American continent is treated to a full eclipse of
the moon. It should start to be visible at 10PM and takes more than an
hour to complete. Please remember any unnecessary lighting that can be
eliminated will enhance viewing.

Shooting Stars

We are entering the Geminid meteor belt  with the peak showing on
the night of the 13th and 14th. Gemini rises around 9PM and should be
directly overhead around midnight. Max and my record is 160 shooting
stars! Anyone up for the challenge?
