I am a post doc in the Department of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. I am on the job market and will be available for interviews at the CEEE in Toronto and the AEA in Philadelphia.

My research interests are in environmental economics, public economics, and applied microeconomics.

In my job market paper, I evaluate the effect of media coverage of climate change on driving behavior. I develop a measure of the environmental content of newspaper coverage and use it to show that individuals and households make more environmentally-friendly driving decisions immediately after receiving more environmental coverage of climate change. In other works, I study the determinants of media coverage and public perceptions about environmental issues and apply text analysis techniques to analyze educational interventions.
