Islanders rally to beat Sabres

This week, the Game of the Week comes to you from the Aud in Buffalo as the Sabres host the Islanders. After a scoreless first, Bill Hajt, Rick Martin, and Rene Robert score to give Buffalo a 3-1 lead after two. However, the Isles storm back in the third. Clark Gillies and Walt McKechnie score to tie it, then Bryan Trottier scores the winner with 1:55 left. Despite the loss, the Sabres still lead the Wales Conference with a 6-4-1 record. New York is currently first in the Campbell Conference at 6-2-1.
