GAME STORY
In their home arena the Flyers easily handled the Nordiques by the final
tally of 9 to 3. Philadelphia poured on the pressure outshooting the
Nordiques 50 to 35. Philadelphia got going early, scoring 3 times in
the first period. ROBBIE FTOREK found the net twice for Quebec. And
RICK MacLEISH scored once and passed for two assists for Philadelphia.
Also REGGIE LEACH found the net twice. BLAKE DUNLOP scored one goal and
passed for four assists. BEHN WILSON was dominating, he dazzled with
a hat-trick on 7 shots and passed for two assists. Others registering
goals were ANTON STASTNY for Quebec and BILL BARBER and BRIAN PROPP for
Philadelphia.
