This week, our Game of the Week emanates from the Met Center in Bloomington. Gary Croteau scores with 51 seconds left to give the Canucks (10-11-3) a 2-1 victory over the North Stars (8-20-1). Croteau also added an assist and Ken Lockett made 31 saves for Vancouver. Bill Goldsworthy scored the only goal for Minnesota, who went 0 for 7 on the power play.

GAME STORY
The visiting team from Vancouver won by one goal over the North Stars
by the final score of 2 to 1. Minnesota was unable to get their power
play going and finished 0 for 7 with the extra man. This was a rough
and tumble matchup, as the battlers combined for 44 penalty minutes.
GARY CROTEAU closed out the scoring with the game winner at 19:09 of the
3rd period. KEN LOCKETT was outstanding in goal. He made just one mistake
while facing 32 shots. Other goal scorers were HAROLD SNEPSTS for Vancouver
and BILL GOLDSWORTHY for Minnesota.
In other RHL action this week:
Bob Nystrom scored twice as the Islanders defeated the Rangers 7-5.
Steve Shutt scored two goals and Ken Dryden made 37 saves (12-14 on ratings) in the Canadiens' 5-3 win over the Sabres.
The Canucks keep their momentum going with a 5-3 win over the Kings behind 2 goals by Don Lever.
