  • April 2012 - Led the project team that implemented the implementation of the electronic monitoring solution pilot project for the Department of Correctional Services, resulting in the tagging and monitoring of the selected offender category
  • December 2011 - Assisted the Department of Correctional Services with the supplier selection for the electronic monitoring solution pilot project
  • June 2011 - Commenced a strategic initiative scoping for the South African Department of Correctional Services as part of the Department's Transformation Agenda. The specific scope or our work was to identify and scope projects that would assist in substantively reducing the overcrowding in the correctional centres, with a particular emphasis on improving the parole process to ensure that offenders eligible for parole consideration are considered without delay, with the greatest probability of the correct decision being made, thereby minimising rework. In addition we also assisted with the development and implementation of a sourcing strategy for the acquisition of an electronic monitoring solution for offenders on parole
  • February 2011 - Cocluded the sourcing engagement for the platinum mining company, with the focus on the finalisation of the procurement organisation structure, including the associated roles and responsibilities, the procurement policies and procedures, as well as the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for selected, key categories
  • June 2010 - Completed a strategic sourcing opportunity assessment for a platinum mining company that  results in the identification of savings potential, an implementation plan to realise the identified savings, which included the structure and development of a procurement organisation to ensure the sustainability of the benefits
  • January 2010 - R-e-volution launches its new, revamped website to coincide with its new ownership structure, its BEE credentials and expanded range of offerings
  • December 2009 - R-e-volution completes a review and restructuring engagement for the Common Market for Eastern  and Southern Africa (COMESA) that results in concrete proposals and guidelines for the restructuring of the COMESA secretariat based in Lusaka, Zambia
  • November 2009 - R-e-volution completes the facilitation of a strategy review for the Johannesburg Road Agency
  • August 2009 - We develop a bespoke training course and train key staff at the Department of Home Affairs on strategy planning, implementation planning, monitoring and control
  • March 2009 - Completed the implementation of a collaboration tool to facilitate the processing of the applications for identity documents and passports for people who have become naturalised citizens 
  • December 2008 - Completed the optimisation of the identity verification process at the Department of Home Affairs to reduce the average turnaround time from 25+ days to 7 days. The project focused on workflow improvement, performance measurement and control systems, downtime management and backlog reduction actions
  • December 2007 - Complete the review of the strategy planning and the development of a action plan to  guide the Department of Home Affairs to more effective alignment with government's planning cycle, as well as the development of a key performance measurement system, including the identification of key performance indicators and a performance tracking process
  • December 2007 -  Complete the development of Service Level Agreements with selected key suppliers of the Department of Home Affairs to facilitate more effective service delivery and improved interaction between the Department and these service providers
  • December 2007 - Complete the pilot project that is aimed at reducing the turnaround time for the issuing of Identity Documents by the Department of Home Affairs, including process mapping, workflow improvement and the implementation of backlog reduction action plans
  • July 2007 - R-e-volution, in conjunction with A.T. Kearney/FeverTreeconsulting conducts a strategy review for Trader Media Group (South Africa), culminating in a competitive strategy to ensure the company's competitive position

  • February 2006 - R-e-volution teams up with Efficio Consulting, an international consulting firm specialising in strategic sourcing, to help Cadbury's develop and implement a new procurement organisation in their Africa, Middle East and Turkey operations, including the training of internal resources in strategic sourcing. The training includes taking the selected resources through a sourcing implementation in selected sourcing groups, such as dairy products, plastic packaging material and marketing merchandise materials
  • February 2006 - Michael Roussouw and Adius Ncube join the firm as equity partners - R-e-volution yet again boasts BEE credentials
