Lost Grace is poet Donal O’Flynn’s debut collection.

Donal O’Flynn’s work is always passionate and honest. His voice is individual and assured. He describes with sympathy and love the ordinary joys and trials of life, exchanges with and observations of family, friends and community that enhance our lives. Some of the work is playful, some mischievous where the revered are cast in the direct light of his own experience. Some poems use a language of directness that aptly matches the seriousness of the subject mattered explored.

Revival Press Managing Editor Dominic Taylor said: “We are delighted to publish Donal’s debut poetry collection. Donal is a fine example and inspiration to all new and upcoming poets for his commitment, originality and hard work. His poems are written with a rare grace. The subject matter swings gentle from the dark and moody to the hopeful and raucous  – but is always rewarding and satisfying. It gives us great pleasure to welcome Donal to Revival Press”.

Author Donal O’Flynn spoke about the writing of Lost Grace.
“This collection of poems had its inception at the White House Poetry Revival in Limerick and the graceful words of encouragement from family and friends contributed greatly to its eventual delivery. I am indebted to poet Jo Slade and the expert guidance of all at Revival Press who supported me at every step and who have produced such an elegant publication. It is a memorable thrill for me to hold for the first time a book with my own name on it. My hope now is that it will do justice to everyone who helped in its production and that the readers enjoy the poems as much as I did creating them.”

Lost Grace, is available online at www.revivalpress.com and from all usual outlets priced €12.00 paperback. ISBN: 978-09554722-5-1
