Your donations in 2014 will lead to BIG IMPACT IN THE ATHENS COMMUNITYWith your support, ReUse Industries will continue to enhance economic prosperity in southeast Ohio by turning "waste into wealth" through implementing innovative solutions to create jobs, workforce development programs, and production of repaired and repurposed products.

These are just some of the initiatives that your 2014 donations will support, adding to over $175,000 in resources already raised primarily from local foundations and donors:
-Establishment of a Community Tool Lending Library to provide high-quality and low-cost tools to do-it-yourselfers including OU students in the Athens area.
-Establishment of a FixerSpace to provide skills training, hands-on learning and jobs to area residents including OU students in diagnosis and repair of computers, electronics, appliances and mechanical items.
-Community Fix-It Workshops led by volunteers to help area residents repair items instead of throwing them away
-production, sale and marketing of Upcycled Products made from re-used materials to provide employment and skills training, jobs and fun volunteer opportunities for area residents including OU students.
-The 2nd annual Appalachian Ohio ReUse Competition, building on this year’s successful competition, which engaged over 150 entrants from 13 counties in Appalachian Ohio.
