My research lies at the intersection of macroeconomics and finance, with a particular focus on how policy and aggregate shocks shape corporate behaviour. I study the transmission of fiscal and monetary policy, the role of economic uncertainty, and the interaction between macroeconomic conditions and corporate financial decisions. A central theme in my work is the role of firm-level heterogeneity: I examine how shocks affect firms’ real investment, financing choices, and balance-sheet adjustment, and how these heterogeneous micro-level responses aggregate to shape macroeconomic dynamics.
