Nancy was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She received her B.S. in Chemistry at University of California, Irvine in 2017. While at UCI, she worked under the supervision of Prof. David Van Vranken. She studied palladium-catalyzed carbenylative cross-coupling reaction in application to natural product synthesis and worked on a machine learning project where she tested the degradation of antibiotic drugs. in the Fall of 2017, she joined Prof. Krische's group and is interested in developing new synthetic methodologies.
