Jacky was born in Canton, China in 1990. He earned his B.S. degree in chemistry at Peking University in 2012, under the supervision of Prof. Jianbo Wang who focuses on carbene chemistry. Jacky became a graduate student at University of Texas at Austin and joined the Krische group in the same year. He is now working on the development of new methodologies.
