I am now an assistant professor with State Key Laboratory of Information Security, Institute of Information Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I received my Ph.D. degree in School of Computer Science and Technology, Tianjin University. My supervisor is Prof. Xiaochun CaoDuring 2015 to 2016, I was a visiting Ph.D. student in Vision and Learning Lab at Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of California at Merced, working with Prof. Ming-Hsuan Yang.

My research interest includes computer vision and image processing. 


  • We released a large-scale Underwater Image Enhancement Benchmark Dataset (UIEBD) for a comprehensive study of the state-of-the-art underwater image enhancement algorithms.
  • One non-blind deblurring paper is accepted in NIPS 2018.
  • Talk at BSIG Youth Forum on "Single Image Dehazing and Beyond" in CASIA.
  • We released the first large-scale benchmark dataset for image dehazing: REalistic Single Image DEhazing (RESIDE), consisting of several sets of synthetic and real-world hazy images. 
  • One image deblurring paper is accepted in TPAMI 2018.
  • One image dehazing paper is accepted in CVPR 2018.
  • Start my visiting scholar at Tencent AI Lab, Aug, 2017.
