Renato Silveira

Currently, I'm a postdoctoral researcher at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), where I develop the software CityZoom.

I received a B.Sc. (2006) degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA), an M.Sc. (2008) and a Ph.D. degree (2015) in Computer Science from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). After my Ph.D., I also worked as a researcher at the SimmLab (Laboratório para Simulação e Modelagem em Arquitetura e Urbanismo) and NTU (Núcleo de Tecnologia Urbana), at Faculdade de Arquitetura - UFRGS. 

My research interests include most aspects of computer graphics, especially crowd simulation, agent navigation, and digital urban modeling and simulation.
