Acerca de la red REMI

La Red de Migraciones Internacionales (REMI) se fundó en 2009 por los actuales doctores Diego Bunge y Daniel Vega con la intención de realizar reuniones para discutir avances en investigación y otras inquietudes relacionadas con las migraciones internacionales entre estudiantes de doctorado.

La REMI tiene continuación gracias a los siguientes coordinadores:

De 2013 a 2016: Ana G. Sanchis creó esta nueva website mediate Google y se encarga de mantener la difusión por mailing. En 2014, colaboraron con ella Itzel Eguiluz y Alma Trejo creando y reactivando los perfiles de las redes sociales.

De 2016 a 2019: Jorge Morales pasó a coordinar la REMI y llevó a cabo otras actividades en el área de las migraciones.

En el año 2018: Diana Garcés se sumó a la REMI para cambiar el site y hacerse cargo de gestionar las redes sociales del grupo, en especial, el grupo de Facebook.

Desde 2019 a 2020, lo vuelve a coordinar Ana G. Sanchis.

Actualmente es un espacio en el que compartir información, conocer otros estudiantes, académicos o profesionales interesados en la materia. También realizamos reuniones mediante videollamadas grupales con Hangouts.

Hasta el momento, tenemos miembros vinculados con instituciones en Canadá, Colombia, España, Francia, México, Reino Unido, Turquía, Portugal y más países mediante las redes sociales.

International Migrations’ Network (REMI) was founded by the current Dr. Bunge and Dr. Vega in 2009, with the purpose to have meetings for arguing some progress in research and other concerns related to International Migrations between PhD students.

The REMI continues thanks to the next coordinators:

From 2013 to 2016: Ana G. Sanchis created this new website through Google and she was keeping the diffusion by mailing. In 2014, Itzel Eguiluz and Alma Trejo colaborate with her creating and reactiving some social networks.

From 2016 to 2019: Jorge Morales was managing the REMI's network and he also carried out other activities in the migration field.

In 2018: Diana Garcés joined the REMI to change the site and take charge of managing the group´s social networks, specially, our Facebook group.

Since 2019 to 2020, Ana G. Sanchis was coordinating REMI again.

Nowadays, it is a network for sharing some information, meeting other students, academics or professionals interested in this subject. We also make some meetings by videocalls in group through Hangouts.

By now, this network has members linked to institutions in Canada, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, UK, Turkey, Portugal and more countries through social networks.
