Travis has been a great friend and great neighbor. He's allowed us, and heartily encouraged our family, to be part of his. We have watched his children grow up and Travis and Kathy have watched our grandchildren grow up. We have enjoyed children's birthdays together, holidays together and kids' activities together as neighbors.
Anyone who knew Travis knew a very unique individual. Amen? One of our memories of our families together is watching his kids and our grandkids, each in his or her own electric car, bouncing and racing around in Travis' backyard...electric cars courtesy of, and maintained by, Travis.
At Halloween, Travis' and Kathy's house was the delight (and fright) of kids for miles around. There was so much love and effort put into all those wonderful decorations. He has definitely contributed to the imaginations of many, many children for years to come.
Travis has been special to us in so many ways. He was continually helping Bill with some technical computer issue that concerned him at the time. Travis didn't just give Bill technical advice and leave; he committed his time and resources, not just once, but many, many times. Janet's car alarm sounded off once and nothing would stop it. She was home alone at the time and Travis came right over and somehow figured out what it was and was able to make it stop...and stop Janet's panic, too. He was always there to lend a hand, always there for us. He will be truly missed but will be living on in the hearts and memories of so many for a long, long time to come.
