Japan after 3.11 Earthquake: Rethink, Rebuild, Remember ~ Lecture Panel Series across East Coast Universities~
The devastating 9.0-magnitude earthquake that struck the Tohoku (Northeast) Area of Japan on March 11 triggered tsunami waves over 100 ft., claiming 20,000 lives and over a hundred thousand houses. As we approach the one year anniversary in March, this project seeks to provide an opportunity to reflect upon the disaster by learning about the current plight and hearing voices from the ground.
