Our laboratory is profoundly dedicated to opening new horizons to cope with emerging environmental concerns such as air, water, and soil pollution. To provide cost-effective, specific, and high-capacity adsorbents for serving wastewater treatment, agricultural wastes (i.e. corncob, coir pith, shrimp shell, macadamia nut shell, and rice husk) have been utilized as raw materials to prepare highly-efficient absorbents, which can dramatically eliminate all kinds of heavy metals, organic substances and highly soluble dyes from wastewater. 

    Lab scale and pilot plant are regularly tested and studied to obtain the essential parameters for supporting the in situ operation. Latterly, the remediation laboratory has developed highly. For example, the treatment system of off-set, flexography a competent technology for printing wastewater treatment screen printing wastewater is shown below.    Remediation laboratory research also emphasizes the phytoremediation of wastewater/soil containing heavy metals/organic substances and contaminated air by local Thai plants. To achieve our goal, we screen some Thai local plants to identify the ones with magnificent capabilities to remove or neutralize hazardous environmental contaminants.

    Moreover, the remediation laboratory also studied plant-microbial interaction, which can be beneficial for plant growth, stress response, and yield improvement. The study focused on the real issue, that happen in Thailand, and deep information including plant physiology, plant hormones and metabolites, and molecular biology of plants growing under various stress conditions was investigated. The information, investigated from our lab, can be a guideline to develop an innovation to promote plant growth even under climate change and unsuitable conditions.

    Finally, new technologies including the internet of things (IOTs), Smart farming technology, and Space technology were also integrated with our background knowledge to develop futuristic innovation.
