Welcome to Region IV
The 2021 Region IV High School Science & Engineering Fair will be held virtually on March 4 - 6, 2021.
The 2020 Region IV High School Science & Engineering Fair took place on Friday, March 6, at Breed Hall, Tufts University.

Congratulations to all the participants in the 2020 Region IV Science Fair! The top participants won prizes, and the top 40 projects moved on to the Massachusetts Science and Engineering Fair (MSEF) at MIT in May.  The top two projects in Region IV moved on to the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Anaheim, CA.

This year's First place winners were Antara Pal from Acton-Boxborough High School with her project entitled Multi-parameter optimization of ECM: a novel approach to controlling cancer and Kangqi Ni from Central Catholic High School with his project entitled Bionic Hexapod Robot and Study of Improving Walking efficiency. Congratulations!

Both projects will move on to the Massachusetts Science and Engineering Fair along with 40 other representatives of Region IV.

The six Regional Science Fairs serve as qualifying competitions for the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) and the Massachusetts Science & Engineering Fair (MSEF) held TBD in May. At the Region IV Competition, the top 2 projects move onto ISEF, and the top 40 projects advance to MSEF where the awards total over $500,000.
