History of REFLECT

REFLECT sprang from the REFRESH retreat group, a weekend experience for 21-35-year-old singles that started in the Diocese of Lansing, Michigan, for many years (previously under the name CHOICE). It was started by Fr. Tom Morrow of New York when he realized that young adults had a great desire to belong to others and needed a supportive environment in which to share their thoughts, feelings, struggles, and joys.

In that same spirit, a small group of REFRESH team members and attendees came together
to create REFLECT.

The REFLECT retreat is designed to address the unique issues and challenges that older singles (mid-30s to 50s) face.  The weekend is planned by a group of volunteers with much prayer and thought. Team leaders are past REFLECT participants who grew from their retreat experience, and want to share the opportunity with others.
