Reeshad Dalal is an associate professor of industrial/organizational psychology at George Mason University (GMU) in Fairfax, Virginia. He received his Ph.D. in 2003 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and then taught at Purdue University for four years before joining Mason.

Reeshad's research has been published in outlets that include (among several others) the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the  Academy of Management Journal, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, the Journal of Management, and the Journal of Behavioral Decision Making. He is currently on the editorial boards at the Journal of Management and the Journal of Business and Psychology, and he has previously served on the editorial boards of the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Academy of Management Journal. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences, and the Department of Homeland Security (along with its Swedish and Dutch counterparts).

Reeshad's Ph.D. students frequently aspire to a career in academia. While in graduate school, his Ph.D. students emphasize basic/academic research involving top-tier, highly-cited journal publications.
