Hyrum is a great community and I have been proud to serve the citizens for the past several years. I have had the opportunity to be involved with many decisions that effect all of us. A few of the decisions include:
The procurement of several acre feet of culinary water
Adoption of a General Plan that will be a guide for planning and zoning for future generations. We are currently in the process of reviewing and rewriting our General Plan
Adoption of several ordinances including the current Zoning ordinance
Increased the law enforcement budget so we will have three Sheriff Deputies assigned to Hyrum City
The development of Salt Hollow and Blacksmith Fork Parks
Construction of a two million gallon culinary water reservoir
Construction of the wastewater recycling facility allowing us to utilize the water in our irrigation system
The installation of the Library solar project, power generated feeds through the power grid.
Help maintain a balanced budget while allowing Hyrum to maintain it's reserves

Thank You considering Paul James for the Hyrum City Council. We have a lot of challenges in the next few years with the unstable economy and uncertain energy market. We also need to manage the growth that is bound to happen in the not to distant future.
I feel that I have the knowledge and experience to meet these challenges and to maintain Hyrum City as the great community that we have grown to love and enjoy.
If you would like to contact me please feel free to email me.
