Included in all the photocopied documents I received from the DVLA was a rather poorly printed version of the original log book which came with the car. It was virtually unreadable.However. I managed to gain a copy of an original log book and with the magic of photoshop have produced this.

Not too bad when you compare it to the original.I am not sure why it has all the crossings out. Perhaps these were made when the data was transferred to the more up to date system.

In addition the book also contains the name and address of the original keeper and the licensing office. Unfortunately, there is no information of the garage which first sold the vehicle. My search for that piece of the jigsaw continues.

It is interesting to see that the vehicle was recorded to be propelled by ICE (Internal Combustion Engine)
